Mbuzeni Transport’s main client is a company called Freddy Hirsch which manufactures spices and has branches all over South Africa and overseas. The business is managed by Moses Mabaso, CEO and the owner of the business.
FACT AND FIGURESOUR STORIES AND EXPERIENCES
Mbuzeni Transport was founded by Moses Mabaso, a previous logistic driver which he successfully exited from after 8 years. Mbuzeni Transport has been established as a sole proprietorship during its pre-launch phase in 1997 and was then registered as a Closed Corporation in 2001. Moses Mabaso being the sole member of the Closed Corporation with 100% shares. He worked for companies called Compec for 4 years to 2002 and NDS for 3 years to 2005. Then went onto Skynet for the next 8 years to End April 2013. He started his business relationship with Freddy Hirsch from May 2013 to date, servicing Johannesburg and surrounding areas, after three months was then awarded a contract for Vaal triangle, after 1 year he was awarded parts of Pretoria as well. He has now been awarded contracts in Bloemfontein, Durban, Pietersburg and the remainder of Pretoria, Nelspruit, Newcastle, Welkom and Klerksdorp. Contracts are being negotiated for Rustenburg, East London, and Cape Town.
Beyond the next 5 years, the business will seek to expand to additional bases of operation in South African and to add trucks and staff with fully equipped offices to man the Depots with controlled efficiency and to ensure timely deliveries to their destinations.
